Point taken, matson. I think i'm just a little oversensitive from all the comment spam:)

I wasn't trying to judge you for making profit off of your creation (after all, I run a for-profit company of my own), I just didn't see a free trial version or anything listed on your site. I would love to give QuickPlanner Plus a try. I'll drop you an email.

Chris -- actually, freeware is free. Shareware simply does not have licensing restrictions (hence "share") and is generally associated with a free trial. If Deep Roots is interested in a free license to QuickPlanner Plus, I can arrange that, just send me an email at matsonian@yahoo.com. I don't want to offend anyone by being considered commercial, I am working on a way for non-profits, of which I have founded three in the Sacramento area, can get access to my software for free without it being abused by others. Keep up the good work here!

Thanks for your comments, Matson, but I have to question your use of the term shareware. Shareware is free, but QuickPlanner Plus is $35.

We are a grassroots non-profit and ask that if folks are going to use our site to push their for-profit endeavors, then they should give some sort of donation to Deep Roots. Thanks!

Chris,
After years of social marketing activism, I could not agree more on the need for a comprehensive strategic plan. Too often, in the various non-profits I have worked for, we are trying to get through the next day, pay the rent next week, and not thinking about next year. We started using a planning method that easily helped us focus and build strong strategies for all our endeavors, the buy in was great and the projects succeeded. Recently I put that method out in the form of shareware called QuickPlanner Plus. It is a simply way of helping those who have the passion to change the world, but lack the patience to truly plan.
